ACE Export Reports list your export filings by Employer ID Number (EIN).
Your options:
ACE Export Reports (Census). Transactional export data from AES. You need an ACE Exporter account and a Certification of Authority on your letterhead, which Census vets.
If you already hold an ACE import account, you can reach your AES trade reports automatically.
- ACE AESDirect. Free; it lets an exporter search the shipments it filed through AESDirect.
- Your forwarder or carrier. If it filed the EEI for you, ask it for the records.
Census treats proof of export for drawback as an official purpose, so it may give EEI to the exporter or its authorized agent.
Two cautions. EEI names your ultimate consignee, which amounts to your customer list; if you protect that list as a trade secret, choose Sealed for these files.
And exporters must keep EEI and shipping records for five years from export.
- Where do I find AES and EEI proof of export for drawback?
