Which mode fits your records?

Sealed fits records that must stay private: trade secrets (supplier prices, formulas or customer lists you protect), records for export-controlled goods, or a customer contract that requires confidential processing.

Standard is enough when your records hold nothing you would mind a named, logged NexQloud specialist seeing, or an outside AI provider processing. It costs 2 points less.

Fee terms

Minimum. $750 per filed claim, never more than 25% of what that claim recovers. Partner discounts apply to the percentage fee, not the minimum. If a claim recovers nothing, nothing is owed.

Your own broker. If your own broker files, it sets its own fee and uses NexQloud Drawback through its workspace.

The arithmetic, shown once

$1,000,000 with Sealed: $500,000 × 20% = $100,000, plus $500,000 × 15% = $75,000. Total $175,000, or 17.5%.

Standard is 2 points less: $90,000 plus $65,000, or $155,000 (15.5%).[1]

Included

What's in the fee?

  • Reading, matching and drafting every claim line, with its evidence.
  • The IEEPA check: every entry is checked for CAPE first, the order CBP recommends.
  • Filing by a NexQloud partner broker, at the published fee.
  • The claim summary and the line-level CSV.
  • In Sealed mode, a signed receipt for every run; in Standard mode, a log of every staff access to your files.
  • Answers to CBP's questions on your claim, through your broker.

Never charged

What will you never pay?

  • No retainer, setup fee or subscription for lookback claims.

  • No fee on CBP interest.

  • No advance and no discount for early cash.

We don't buy, lend against or take an assignment of your refund, and we never ask you to designate a refund to us.

  • No third-party costs without your approval.

Costs like a surety bond for accelerated payment are quoted before you agree, and you pay the surety directly. Anything over $500 needs your written approval.

  • No fee when CBP pays nothing. If CBP later reduces a payment, the fee is reduced to match.

Partner pricing

Came through your CPA, adviser or refund firm?

Clients of our Advisory and Recovery partners get partner pricing: 10% off the percentage fee. The $750 minimum per claim stays the same.

Partner pricing applies when a NexQloud partner broker files.

Your adviser bills its own work separately, on its own terms, and receives nothing from us.

Brokers. If your broker offers NexQloud Drawback under its own name, your broker sets your price.

Questions

Fee questions

Why does Standard cost 2 points less?

Sealed adds proof you can check yourself. No one sees your documents without your consent, the working copy is erased, and you get a signed receipt. Standard runs on our controls: no training on your files, and a log of every staff access. It may use outside AI, on terms that bar training. Both use the same checks and the same licensed broker.

Is the fee on the whole refund or each tier?

Each tier. Only the dollars inside a tier pay that tier's rate.

When do I pay?

Your broker invoices you after CBP pays. Payment is due in 30 days.

What if CBP pays less than claimed?

The fee follows what CBP actually pays. If CBP later recovers part of a payment, the fee is reduced to match.

Is there a fee to estimate or upload?

No.

Do you charge for CAPE?

We don't file CAPE. The IEEPA check that protects your CAPE refund is included.

Why publish prices?

Because you should be able to check the arithmetic before you sign anything.
